Engine code AEB (1.8T '95 - '99)
I just pressed in new wrist pin bushings (small end bearings) in connecting rods. Measuring internal diamater - it is ~19,75mm. However, wrist pins themselves aro 20mm precisely. Is it true that new pin bushings must always be honed to exact size (and alignment) or did I do/buy something terribly wrong? (Well, the code matches that in ETKA, but still.)
