when pulling up slowly or pulling away slowly there is a slight knocking noise gets a little worse when on lock. Been on Ramp and checked was told all is well but the noise persists . Any ideas you lovely people

Sounds like an outer cv joint jack the car up and spin the wheels on full lock (both ways) u should be able to hear/feel which side it is

Well.. Mine done this and it turned out to be the caliper bolts came loose. I have no idea how.. But was so bad I could shake it with my hand..
Replaced the caliper bolts, which was really hard because the bolts were bent, and all was fine..
Might be worth looking at..
