I decided to call based upon my car having advanced safety features that I thought should make my insurance cheaper than a like for like person without the safety feature (Audi Pre Sense and Lane Departure Warning System), but mainstream insurance sites are computers now and have no way to differentiate.
I also like that they don't insure "everyone" like other brokers say, and means they can take lower risk drivers and offer better deals.

Well, just got off the phone to your delightful staff member Charlie. What a helpful chap he is..
Me and my partner are having to move to her parents as her mother is not very well so I asked how this would effect the quote I got yesterday, as the car would no longer be parked on a drive as she has a double garage I can use. I was told that wouldn't change the policy.. I find that hard to believe. More likely he couldn't be bothered to re-run the quotes.
I also asked to have my mother put on the policy as a named driver, something I've done as long as I can remember, because not only does it reduce the cost, it also gives her the option to use it if needs be. He wouldn't let me add a named driver, saying without even checking, it won't change the cost, his tone and attitude were disgusting.
I then asked to speak to Ollie, who started this thread on here, to which he replied 'There's no one here called Ollie,'
'Oh right well he started the Sky Insurance thread on Audi-sport.net-'
'There is no one here called that SIR,' He cut in with rather bluntly.
I do not expect to be spoken to like that.
Thanks to him, you have now lost my custom. I do not believe he is working in line with you companies core customer values;
"Best value best price best service" Is NOT being practised by this man.
I can now honestly say after this carry on, I'll be speaking to Adrian Flux again, because not only were they a little cheaper, they were also a lot more helpful and happy to be speaking to me.
Just gotten off the phone to Adrian Flux, who were more than happy to cater to my needs, undercutting Sky by nearly £100 PA, with £150 less excess to pay, and over 9 months instead of 10.
Forums and Social Media plays a big part of businesses these days. (Look at what happened to Mainz Car Care, after they were found to have stolen charity money from Help 4 Heroes) and I think your staff need to be made aware of the repercussions that can occur from poor customer service.
