Skid plate. Will skidplate for Golf Mk5 fit 8P?

Planning on getting a metal skid plate, but there's no plate for A3 8P available at the local dealers. Only for the MK5...

Therefore, I wonder, will an MK5 plate fit my A3?

ill have a look at dads mk6 next time i see it but d doubt it as the centre consoles are different profiles osir make one to blend with s3 pedals
