Firstly id like to state i have not yet finished the single player nor have i tried the multiplayer yet, i will however update once ive experienced both, the purpose of the review is to give you guys an idea of what the game is and to hopefully determine if it is for you or not.

Singularity stands out rought from the outset, its compelling storyline had me hooked immediately and i found myself visiting every projecter playing ever audio recording and reading all of the notes, total immersion. Even without the TMV (Time minipulation device) the game is a solid first person shooter with a large arsenal of weapons and very intelligent AI. but once you add in the near limitless combat possiblities of the TMV and the whole problem solving element that it brings to the game you really have something truely original and unique, it is easily on a par with bioshock and infamous and in the short playtime that i have had its already made it to my top 10 games, the controls are very easy to get to grips with and ive had no issues with anything not doing things as intended. The graphics on this game are very good and kudos to the detail in the enviroment. This game is another that will send chills down your spine and have you moving cautiously as if it was your own life. anyway just a quick few scores from my gameplay so far;

Storyline - 10/10 (complete immesion in the story i deffinately wont be putting this one down anytime soon, this game is also very self aware all of the propaganda posters are very relevant as are recordings and the soldiers themselves)

Learning curve - 9/10 (the game doesn't do anything wrong with regards to the teaching how to play i just felt a tiny bit lost and i had to experiment with some things, but then thats also part of the games intention i belive)

Graphics - 9/10 (the graphics are very good and i love the attention to detail, you can even crumble enemies cover when they are hiding behind it, personally id love to see the enviroment become slightly more destructive, that is just me nitpicking though)

In short, if you love bioshock then this game is for you, a definate buy
