Simple question

Well simple question i hope, basically bought some new wipers as my wipers didn't seem to clean my windscreen well but since i put new ones on i have the same problem. It misses an area when it goes across it doesn't touch it so it's leaving a big gap that isn't getting wiped and it's fairly dangerous as it's directly in front of me, can't understand why it's missing, any ideas?

Just bend the arms to add more pressure & wipe fully.

Thanks guys will try bend the arms a tad to make more contact with the windscreen, will let you know the outcome!

Bending the arm doesn't seem to work, or i might not be doing it enough. However i know I've bent it a bit and it's still not contacting the windscreen in the middle of the wiper, i'm thinking it could be the spring/arm related? any other ideas to fix this or should i stop being a wuss and bend it more?

The spring goes weak, i tried the bending before and made it worse like you have found.

A new wiper arm i had to get, well 2nd hand.

Bought a new wiper arm, this has to solve the problem just hope the one i have bought is good condition...
