silicone hoses

    just changing the oem upper boost pipes and intake pipe is there any others that are known to cause boost lost over time. im running stage 1 jabba map but hoping to get it custom mapped hence the change any advice would be great

    Change as much as you can on the boost circuit mate. I've done upper intercooler hoses, the red hose from turbo to charge pipe, charge pipe to N75, charge pipe to DV, turbo intake pipe, DV to manifold, brake servo, and ripped out the N249 hoses and PCV hoses......... and breathe. Car is sweet now ;)

    I bought the folllowing:

    upper intercooler hoses:

    AUDI S3 TT UPPER SILICONE BOOST HOSES1.8T 210/225BHP | eBay UK

    Charge pipe to DV & N75:

    AUDI S3 TT LEON CUPRA R BAM AMK N75 & DV BOOST HOSES | eBay UK

    Turbo to charge pipe (dont get this one though as its in the USA):

    Forge Silicone Turbo Hose 1.8 Audi TT 225 hp, S3 210 hp | eBay UK

    2 metres of 8mm hose:

    8mm 5/16" ID Silicone Silicon Coolant Hose 1 Metre Red | eBay UK

    2 metres of 3mm hose:

    3mm ID Silicone Vacuum Hose Pipe Silicon 1 Metre Red 1M | eBay UK

    Turbo Intake Pipe if you dont have one. (this one is for the S3. Also I did buy from this seller in Hong Kong and it was a quick delivery):

    Silicone Induction Hose kit Audi TT 225 S3 1.8T B | eBay UK

    Think that should see you through the most of it ;)

    The get a catch can fitted and remove the N249 valve if you have it. Guides are in the stickies section.

    Pretty much the same ^^^^ costs a few quid but after initial blow offs to judge the new T clamps, everything is sweet....
