So with the throttle body problems I'm seeing plus the running costs etc, I am seriously considering parting ways with the S4. I bought her at 60K and she's now on 180+.

I'm sure that the cost of running the S4 is less than the depreciation of the Mrs new Volvo V50 diesel, but it's starting to seem like there is always something going wrong with it!

I've wanted a 996 for a long time and now they are starting to look affordable...

    Thoughts?

996 is a cracking car. If I could get my hands on one I know I would

if your having too many problems i can see how it starts to get you down and you start having bad feelings for the car, been there too. sell her mate before more big things start going like the turbos. just take off your 100 cell cats and sell them to me lol 996 is a nice car

To make your car worth anything you will need to fix her, then you will be back in love till she breaks again, viscous circle sadly
