It's down to personal taste. Years ago I bought a used Ford Escort which had them fitted, and promptly ripped them off because I felt they spoilt the look, especially with nice alloy wheels. Would probably do the same if they were on my A3.

I saw an A3 on the road the other week with them on, didn't look very good :( As Ben says though, its all down to personal taste, I certainly wouldn't want them on my car though.

My parents A3 (silver'ish) has them and they look good. Not sure how they would look on a black car, so i haven't bothered.

The other thing is after driving around this week after the snow, the car was covered in ****, but wasn't too bad down the sides or on the rear bumper.

I'll save the 60 quid and spend it on something else...
    Cheers for the views..

I think a black car is the only one that might get away with these. I suppose you could always remove them if your not keen.

I always have them on all cars. I just think it saves so much **** from hitting the paintwork?

I'd post a pic but imageshack, that I usually use, seems to be having a problem - any other hosting sites that you guys use??
