    Hola,

I'm going to doing a service this weekend on my car, I've had it for 3 years/30k so I'm changing plugs, air filter, oil filter, oil, fuel filter etc etc car is now on 88888 miles to be exact :D

I have VAG-COM that I've used a few times in the past to run diagnostics, but how do I go about clearing the service light to expire in 10k miles/12 months?

    Thanks

Are you putting it onto fixed servicing? 10k? then this should work

To reset the "SERVICE!" warning indicator ignition must be "off".

Hold in the wrench button on instrument cluster, and at the same time turn your key forward (without starting). While still holding the "wrench" button in, press the "0,0" button and hold until the "SERVICE!" notification clears (about 2-3 seconds).

"Service!" Indicator Reset Procedure/Service Indicator Reset Complete!

After you have doen this. the "Service due" indicator will read - - - - - - for about 500-700 miles until the service meter has re-calibrated itself. So don't panic!
