Servicing costs??!!

Just had my car (2.4 v6) fully serviced, the whole sherbang jobby, thought would be a good idea as it was 1st service in my ownership, what sort of price would you guys expect to pay or have you paid for this engine service??

Also all items used were Bosch or of good quality where they couldn't be Bosch, I paid 180 ish, does that seem about right??

Was it a major or minor and what is the on the clock / car age. Some things are interval based.

It was a major, asked for everything to be done as first in my ownership, it's on 67k. It had the cambelt kit replaced in January, 3 weeks before I brought it so iv got 4 1/2 years to save for that one!!!

That's cheap. My local indies are about 250

Ouch, my mechanic is a mate of mine who does look after me to be fair, but I do tell him to still make it worth his while as he is always rammed with work but books me in with a day's notice!! I'd say it was nearer to £160 I paid, I had following work done by him for £260
