My 99 2.8 Quattro is due its annual service in January, plus the MOT. The car's done 75,000 miles, and the cambelts were done last year.

I don't expect any nasties to be revealed, but I've been thinking for while that it may need a new set of discs & pads at the back. If it does, I may just go the whole hog & have the fronts done as well, & start the year with all four brakes fully renewed.

Can anyone give me head up as to the likely cost of renewing the discs and pads, front and rear? This is on the basis that the work is carried out by an independent garage, at a labour cost of £45 per hour plus VAT.

    Thanks in advance, guys. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beerchug.gif
