secondary air pump removal (1.8t)

Hi guys I was just wondering if anybody has ever removed the secondary air pump and associated pipework
On a 1.8t? Just wondering could anybody give me any pointers please

Yes I know that but just hoses coming off it, I believe theres pipes that need blanking and a pipe to the dump valve needs re-running? Just want to make it cl3ar exactly what needs doing....

going to wire a resistor into my 3.0 v6 at the weekend as mine is vcurrently unplugged due to a fault relay for it

What is the benefit of doing this? and what does it do when it is functioning?
