Search Function Error

Getting the following error repeatedly when trying to use the search function.
Using Google Chrome Version 31.0.1650.63 m

connection to localhost:9312 failed (errno=111, msg=Connection refused)

Admin are aware of this and working flat out to get thngs up and running smoothly again. x

Was this fixed? I seem to remember being able to search ok but this week I have had the same error.
