Just washed the car, and after using a squeegee to get most of the water off the roof, I discovered it has made lots of very fine scratches along the length of the roof. Arrrggggh !!!

What sort of polish or other stuff is best to remove these ?

Going to depend how much time you want to spend getting the paintwork up to scratch (pardon the pun)

Get your hands on a PC and you'll get them out without too much bother.

Why not check out the detailing forum in here. Try the 'Ask a professional detailer' thread ???

Yeah get over to Detailing World. Sounds like marring - if they are not too deep then probably some Auto Glym Super Resin Polish will do the job.

If you can feel the scratch with your fingernail dont think you will havemuch luck removing them by hand polishing, but you can lessen them so you wont notice them

i read this is good for fine scratches. Not tried it myself ive used..

Which i have managed to remove fine scratches but not the deep ones.

    Good luck.

I have used the Scratch X and it worked OK. But again it does depend on how deep it is.

    Wet sanding may also work...
