He is indeed
cheers n8 might think about some of these , hey at least they wont be reps eh buddy lmao
Bro reps are awful, the S8 reps on my car atm just shake like hell over 60 on the motorway, really not the way forward.
i must have the best reps in the world then as ive never had a prob with them no corrosion no buckles lmao , landy wheels have got me thinking tho im guessing they are off a disco
Fran what you need is a set of bentleys
bentleys are mega £££ im sure landy's can be had for alot cheaper than them lol, i would love some bentleys tho i saw some at early edition on a golf mk5 gti and the were
My bentleys are not, have a look at the for sale thread
Faces are mint, dishes are not the best hense the price, all they need is a lick of paint and some rubber, and theres a good set up from reps
If I had the money I'd get them straight away. Good price
Not all fella seen a few sets go for £600-£700. Get Tims and I'll get them sorted for you They would finish your car off nicely
if i had the dosh i prob would go for them but no dosh at the mo , im not bothered about refurbing them i can do that myself in work so that doesnt phase me at all
A set on ebay, one wheel has kerbing, no bentley caps, £924.
Im open to offers like i said Ash
How much would it cost to sort them ash ive been texting tim but want my rims pristine, emailed my usual refurber and he said he would need to see the corrosion in the dishes in person. I would want all of this repairing and the fronts refurbed.
Let me know if you can Cheers
Tim's set have now sold.
My mate could probably sort them out for £200-£300 max and that would be at a push. Plus i'd just moan at him if he wanted to charge me that anyway lol. So say £200-£250 full refurb. I'd have to show him the photos. But i've seen worse alloys giving to him and they look brand new when he gives them back. Normally takes him a day to refurb a set but may take a little long as he would want it perfect.
Ash it wont let me read my messages atm can you email me through hotmail?
Yeah i'll send it over now fella
Ash sugested I show you my wheels that are for sale - these have just been refurbished and have never been fitted to a car - they are Prestine, refurbed by Prestine!!
if i had the money chris i would have them in a heartbeat matey
Fran thats what you always say haha if you had the money youd probly open a wheel shop
Update - just a few pictures of the rebadge on the rear
Not quite sure what to do yet may go for a clean look on the rear. . . . what you guys think?
Both off, de-badge completely
Take them all off Scott
Agree And get some wheels
Less is more when it comes to cars for sure
They will be coming off soon lads. . . .
Leave the rings, lose the others IMO.
There you go peeps took your advice badges are off. . . . . .
After snaps aren't showing but I'm sure it's an improvement
haha i know i prob would , i would end up being a wheel whore like n8 lmao
get some exhaust trims on the back of your car mate it doesnt look right , ive got the same rear diffuser on mine and had a custom exhaust centre weld some on for me i take it you have the downwards tips
They shud be working now m8
Haha true true
Dont worry yourself fran its all under control haha u need to give me time. . . im no miracle worker or millionaire for that matter, nar to be honest m8 i just emailed a supplier today and he said the part i need it currently out of stock so just waiting for him to get back to me and they will be going on anarl
fair enough scott will look so much better once fitted i couldnt wait to get mine sorted out it looked bad as ive got the 1.6 so had the single exhaust so looked even worse than the twin's lol
For the cost it makes one hell of a difference, just need to make sure i get them put on straight coz ive seen a few wonky ones knockin about. . . . . and yea m8 mine are the downfacing ones, apparnetly the twin tips are only held on but 3 tak welds? so shouldnt be hard to remove. . . . .
yeah very true mate makes a huge difference to the look of the back mine looks so much better now but am going to get some new ones soon as mine are cheapo ones so are ***** lol , that makes it so much easyer to so then and quicker to fit too
Looks great now, good job!
Yea ill b posting pics when its sorted probly be a couple of weeks now like
cool man will keep an eye out for them i need a rear spoiler for mine the back looks too plain on mine with out one thats next on my long list of things to do
without the badges it looks sooo much better, easy to do?
Yea the roof spoiler makes it look loads tidyer, looks like we all have plans should be a few better looking cars come the summer
Cheers time will look even better with the wheels on yea it really easy just fishing line down the back of the badges to get them off, then i used white spirit to get the rest of the sticky off. . . .
