A few days ago I was surprised to learn that I could watch tv on the sat nav, is this true?? If so, has anyone actually got it running?

If you bought the (expensive IMHO) TV option then you can watch Freeview.

For me I think its a waste of money as its expensive anyway you go, but yes as Dave says it can be done.

I had the (analogue) TV tuner on a previous S4, barely used it as the picture kept breaking up so I've never bothered to order it again.

Ok...thought you just have to mess around with the satnav didn't realise there is more involved...do you have to buy something extra to get it working?

Yes you'd need a media adapter, then a freeview module as such, plus install & there is no VIM hack for a mk2 rns-e I know of, highly expensive for imho very little gain.
