Sat nav in 1998 A3 1.8t

What are my options as regard a Audi satnav system on a pre- 2000 A3 1.8t.

I understand a double din conversion...
anyone done this?

what else is needed?

I have seen someone put the facelift dash and double DIN in and kept the prefacelift climate. I think they put a double DIN PC in there.

Facelift dash is a good idea..
might look into this more...
