I finally did the decent thing and purchased a Samco turbo intake pipe (in nice oem black) and am now looking for some nice clips to fit it. I did have book marked a link but I seem to have lost it. Im looking for the proper quality clips for either end of the pipe rather than use the 'orrible jubilee style clips. Anyone know where I can find them ?

Jubilee clips are fine..there's no pressure so they are no problem

If you want stainless clamps, Demon Tweeks sell a variety of them...I think Mikanor do jubilee type as well as some others suitable for the low pressure hoses - you can't fit big beefy wide clamps as there's no room!

the only clips i got with the tip were the smaller jubilee ones - the main ends have no clips, the pipe was an unused one from ebay so maybe they do come with all clips new ?

and for a description of all clamp types here:

    http://www.teconnex.com/products/clamps_couplings.htm

seems ring clamps (t bolt) are recommended for turbo applications..

i like the fact they have a nylock nut so wont come loose and the continuous inner band design doesnt cut into the rubber or silicon pipe

more info / recommendations on the old vortex forum..

JCS Marine Grade stainless Steel ones.

Nice and shiny, bit wider than standard Jubilees, and you can give them grief.

They havent budged since i fitted them

not sure on the sizes, but if you got the TIP then a ruler and the demon tweeks website should sort your problem.
