Silly question I know... would S8 Ceramic Brakes go onto my A3? Complete overkill I know but I can get them for handy money:ninja::sly:

just that the 19"'s I have on now make the standard brakes look like poo! The ceramic ones look the business with floating discs and I think 6 pot calipers, although the standard master cylinder prob wont like the the big caliper's piston's?

I have R8 4 pot front brakes/350mm discs with 310mm S3 rears on my A3, and my braking is PERFECTLY PERFECTLY balanced. Yes MC will probably struggle.

What's the pedal feel like with the R8 calipers? any harder or softer than stock? Might just go with a set of S3 Brakes as im dreaming a bit with the S8 ones.lol are they a straight swap for the standard set up? I take it ill need new brake hoses to suit?

Thats what I'm saying the pedal feels PERFECT, no travel at all. OEM +

S3 is good upgrade, just doesn't look as nice lol.

TT-RS will have alot of pedal travel, drive down to me, and you can feel my brakes and see what you think. I think the piston sizes are better on my R8s, I'm just tellin you guys what my brake guy tells me

I had the TTRS fitted to my S3 and found them perfect N8
Pedal felt like oem with massive stopping power, Infact very similar to the brakes on my 996 so very good mate.

The TTshop fitted mine at a good price and the guys were great.
