The A6 mounts will fit the A4 afaik. You might need the lower alloy brackets as well.

You'll need to sort a flywheel (B6 S4 V8 one should work) but it mostly should bolt together!

Okey, so if i take the mounts from the S6 C5 i should be ok then?

What lower alloy brackets are you refering to? ?

Aha so the B6 flywheel is bolt on and so is the clutch?

How about the electrics then, the S6 -2000 i guess is using a electric gaspedal?
is it as easy to just take the gaspedal from an A4 -00 and use it in my -96 and just contect the wires?

yeh if you can get the alloy lower brackets take them too just incase, but i think the stock A4 ones should work.

You will need to fit a DBW pedal box, or fit the pedal sensor from a PFL B5 S4 to your existing pedal box, however you still need to remove the pedal box to fit the pedal sensor, and the DBW pedal boxes are easier to find.

B6 S4 flywheel and clutch will work fine. You _MIGHT_ need a gearbox spacer, i know for instance the B5 S4 has a 11mm spacer between the box and engine, the V8 might be the same.

okey, ill grab them aswell then. :)

I have an DBW Pedalbox from an rs4 B5 that will do fine but the wireing is another issue! :p :(

OK ok if i look up the OEM part number i might se if the spacers are the same...? i wonder if all 2.7tt whit manual gearbox has that spacer?

Wirings pretty streight forward actually, the DBW pedal loom goes to its own plug, and will more or less just plug right in.

However becasue your cars an early one, you'll need to cut the ends off your existing engine harness, and patch them onto the end of the V8 loom.

Does the wirering from the DBW go from the pedal and straight to the connector to where the ECU is?

I have the V6 harness that i can use to patch the 2 ones together. :)

I picked up the new engine today, bought one that had 17k (swedish mil) on it for 1500:- Sek nad thats about 220 dollars and 5cent, i think i got a good deal, only thing that was missing is the ECU, Airflowmeter and the engine harness was cut and som hoses as well butt still a good deal to me, generator and starter and AC pump are still there

How about the oilfilter will that be in the way?
