S4 Side Skirt Headache

Morning,
Ive notice that my bottom skirt on both sides of the car have started to come away from under the sills and bow out???Now I been told "they may just need the clips replacing" but all seems to be well and good?Now I thought about sealing them with the same stuff that is used to fit windows, as its meant to be the nuts.
Does anyone have any idea's \ solutios to this annoying problem........??

Silicone sealant WILL cause problems further down the line.

Get the correct clips, if that's all they need. They're not expensive.
