I am looking at buying a 2010 S4 which has had an MRC ECU reprogramming.
It is advertised as now having 450BHP, so what sort of effect will that have on the fuel consumption and insurance?
I would be grateful for any info before I decide whether to buy it or not.

    Thanks

If that's the blue one that looks very nice, just slightly out my bracket. Fuel economy should actually be slightly better, however with that power you'll be wanting to use it all the time to its full extent, so your economy will be pants lol

Did you test drive this? I just tested one with stage 2 MRC 480Bhp, and wow, put my old supra to shame...can't see decent mpg off that as too tempting to floor it....

    Hi There,
I have just been looking at MRC myself. I have an S4 Convertible. I would check their website - especially the FAQ's lots of useful information on there and I am pretty sure if you have any specific queries, you could contact them directly to help..
