I have a S4 cab 2005 on a 05 plate for 2 weeks. Great car, however today while in kickdown once I took the pressure off the pedal, it stayed in 3rd and the dash displayed the gear numbers and not the gear letters. I moved the gear lever into tip then out again and it corrected itself into auto. This happened 3 times.
Any ideas out there. Roy
