    I've sold me beloved... sniff...

Deposit taken today. Collection next week, sob sob...

    So, what's next then?
Have seen a 53 plate 1.8T (190) Q S-line for £10k ?! Seems stupidly cheap. Will have to find out what's wrong with it. Surely they're not that cheap??? Only done 30k miles too...

At that price it doesn't matter that it's a petrol and a quattro !!

Could even fund a turbo coversion too... Let me think...

Already sold. The fella just made a cock-up ion the price, but stuck to it. Was sold the day it was advertised...

    Now looking at other 'cheap' 1.8T (190's) and B7 2.0T S-Lines...

Don't think you'll find any 'cheap' B7 2.0T Slines !!! My mate has jsut brought an ex management 57 plate fully loaded 2.0T Sline Q and that was £25k from an audi dealer.

Ok so seem to have bought a 1.8T S-Line (saloon) for £12k on a 54 plate in black, only 35k miles. Pick it up next weekend...

Already started looking at wheels, exhuasts, remaps, brakes, etc etc !!

Quite looking forward to do a bit of work on it now !

So, where's best to get brakes etc? Ebay ? Are S4 brakes (calipers/disks) a straight swap on the 1.8T do you know? I seem to recall you cant buy off the shelf braided hoses, that they have to be fabricated to suit ? Is that right ?!

Also, looks like the 190 remaps to 225bhp and similar ft lbs, and a zorst takes it up to c240bhp ?? That about right ??

    Cheers for advice !

    Think that's about right.

Wheels, zorst, brakes, remap, RARB, induction filter, intake pipe all on the cards in the next few weeks. Followed by short shift, diverter valve, some ICE upgrade, then who knows perhaps a turbo upgrade. Got to think about that though as its a serious investment whioch wont be recovered when time comes to sell...

You'll see about 235bhp and 250+ lbft with those mods.

    That's the idea...

Don't seem to be able to get much more unless you either a) change the turbo or b) do some internal work... That'll be fine for now though...
