ok guys this is a long shot but worth posting about.

I want to do a video of the above cars in a drag race, will have to be done at bruntinghorpe or Santa pod.
Date to be determined as soon as I find willing owners!

Cars wanted:

Audi S3 8V stronic - stock
Audi RS3 8V - stock
Merc A45 - stock
Merc A45 - tuned
Merc A45 - facelift model

It's to determine how fast the stage 2 8V is in comparison to the faster competition.

I think it would be a good laugh for all us owners thrashing our cars, comparing, possibly trying out each other's cars and just an all round good laugh.

Please get in contact if you own or know anybody that does

Nothing yet
Might have to post this on some other forums for the mercs

If you want the current RS3 there I'll bring mine albeit not collecting until mid Nov 15.

TX.

I should have my RS3 (BW44) before end of Nov and it will 99% likely be tuned the same week :) so if that works for you, I can partake for some fun!
Once I confirm with my visit to qstuning to have it lowered (booked 28th Nov) (and they are preparing a MTM box for me as I will decide on the day)

I'll let you know - at least I will find out how it performs!

This is brilliant, so far we have:

Tuned S3
Stock RS3
Tuned RS3 (hopefully)
just need the A45 and possibly a stock S3 and we have a very entertaining video

Just a update for people, planning on end of November for the shootout.
Trying to figure out how to get access to bruntinghorpe... Any help appreciated!

Also need to find somebody with the A45, might contact rebellion or a similar Mercedes tuner who might be interested in a little bit of pr.

Ha ha you don't hang about!! :)

Ok good news and bad news....

Good news first:
Yes we can go and have full access to the track on any Saturday of our choosing.

Bad news:
We require public liability insurance for each vehicle attending.... Which is actually quite cheap (Google) roughly £30-70.
And using the track costs £50 an hour per car for minimum of 2 hours (£100 each basically).
They don't charge for the amount of people so bring your friends!

Let me know what you think....

I'm still up for it. RS3 in UK and almost at dealers so I'm told.

Just need track insurance for bruntinghorpe :)
I'm tied up until December so going to try and sort us out a dry Saturday then.
