S3 upgrade

    Picking up my new s3 hatchback next week 2009 plate it has audi standard set up:( i just know i will want to get upgraded has anyone on here done same with similar car and recently if so what and how much please ideas guys thanks.

    p.m nhn if you want to stay with the oem equipment

    however if fitted properly aftermarket will sound better

    Do you have any experience fitting or do you want someone else to do it? It can take quite a bit of time but the end result is very satisfying.

    no experience dont do electrical someone else buddy more mechanical minded:yes: mot want to spend a fortune but a decent all round upgraded system.

    Well the kit required for a much better aftermarket system (component speakers, sub, amp, wiring) isn't too expensive as you sound like you are after a low-mid range setup which will be vastly superior to OEM. Its the labour that will sting as installation takes ages. I'm not sure what a pro would charge as I have only ever done my own installs and mates installs in exchange for beers. I'm sure some of the forum sponsors here offer such services though so take a look in that section and message a few :)
