S3 Transponder Code ?

Hi can anyone tell me how to get my transponder code ? I've got a spare key with correct blade and working remote but need to get the transponder coded , was going to get a skoda garage that i'm mates with to do it for me with their 5051 . But i'm told by Audi that only they can download the code is this correct ! As i think if can get the code they'll be able to do this for me at skoda , many thanks

theres a few places i know round south yorkshire that can get the code
im sure 5051 can get it its the skc code you need

Thanks for the reply , yes your right it is the SKC code i need but i'm told it can only be acessed via 5051 and that also needs an input code ! Is it only audi that can do this or will any 5051 be able access the code ! Many thanks

shame as if it was an early one you could have bought Vagtacho but as it's a 2002 you'll really need to go to the dealer to get the SKC code.

Do you not have it on the plastic tag in the document wallet?

IMMO 3 then! You need the 7 digit SKC im afraid...
