S3 Sportback - Day One

So I've had my S3 Sportback for one day, here are my thoughts so far:

- the car is amazingly quick, puts the power down with little fuss, and moves you along rapidly.
- the noise it makes in dynamic mode is amazing and very addictive
- glad I opted for manual over s-tronic, I can see both arguments, previously I was an auto driver, but I feel much more in control of the car and enjoy the gear changes
- pleased with the audi sound system, the sub and upgraded speakers really do improve the sound
- wish I had bought the interior light pack, but I am £300 better off as result!
- Speang blue looks awesome, especially with the standard S3 alloys
- love the practicality of a sport back, already had the rear seats down to ferry around some golf equipment
- the interior is superb, and I really love the small chunky steering wheel
- I had a S3 mark 1 back in 2003 and it's amazing how similar they feel
- will be interesting to see how the fuel economy levels off when I drive it more sensibly

Looking forward to a trip to the coast tomorrow with the kids!

Did you compare the Audi system against the B&O if so how did you find it?

Agree with dynamic mode being amazing, even more so on the S-Tronic in "S" mode.

Also agree with you about it being similar to the 8L, 8V feels more like the 8L then the 8P ever did.
