S3 Shocks on A3?

Hi,

Sorry if this has been asked 1000 times before but my searching skills sucks ( ive tried wild cards but with no avail also)

But does anyone know if the S3 8P Shocks/Suspension+Springs will fit onto an A3 8P?

I know the S3 is 4WD but i been told they "may" fit.

Has anyone done this before?

Yes mate they will fit without any problems, i did this mod to my car and i'm extremly happy with it .

I'd go with aftermarket stuff, i.e. weitec coilovers, will be a much better ride than S3 OEM setup.

I was offered $400AUD (or roughly £200) for S3 8P shocks and has only travelled 50-100km - the owner bought aftermarket shocks the moment he bought his S3.

Was originally going to just buy springs, but this came up.

I think its a pretty sweet deal (right?) installation can be done myself.
