After hitting a pheasant this evening which smashed part of the bottom section of the grill, it looks like a new grill will have to be ordered.

I would like to order the S3 version and fit the S-Line badge.

My question is, does anyone know it the S3 grill actually fits the S-Line (Special Edition) front bumper?

Hope you guys can help me!!

Sorry forgot to add?

Any ideas on how to remove the front bumper?

I believe that the grill on the S3 is actually a slightly different size...one of the few tweaks made to it I read somewhere...don't shoot me down if I am wrong though.

Arch liners off, fog lights out, undo 20,000 screws holding the bumper on.

PMSL!!!! Thats OK, I thought there might be 40,000 screws!!!

I have been looking into the S3 grill option into the S-Line bumper, apparently it will fit OK, but it will leave a slight gap at the bottom.

As mine is brilliant black, I am hoping that it will not be too obvious.

They guy who took the bumper off mine couldn't believe how many there were. Apparently there's about three on a SEAT.

there is only 4 on a clio - i have yet to attempt taking the front bumper off the a3

come on, they need SOMETHING to justify the amount of labour they charge....

My Audi dealer wanted £246 + VAT to change the grill, thats just labour!!!

When I had my black optics grille put on JBS in Chesterfield charged me one hour. £45 + VAT IIRC. It could have been half an hour but it was the first 8P they'd done so we weren't sure if we could get away with not removing the bumper.

£246 + VAT? Hmm...
