S3 Revo Stg2+ vs S3 8V

Something doesn't add up here:

S3 8P Stage 2+ should be 360bhp give or take curb weight is 1450kg

S3 8V standard is 300bhp and curb weight is 1395kg.

Stage 2+ 8p should be at least .5 sec faster over a quarter mile based on those figures.

Could the new S3 8V have shorter gear ratios in the lower gears?

I test drove an 8V not long ago, it felt quicker than my Stage 1 8P +milltek.
Lovely car, silly uncompetative finance deals however.

I test drove a S3 8V the other day and it wasnt as quick as mine S2+ no way.

To me it sounds like the clutch is slipping in the one with the camera!!! but I could be wrong

abt took s3 8v to 370bhp with stage 1...

Consider that the Stage 2+ horsepower figures are actually more like 330bhp in real life (I had a Revo S2+ Cupra) and the outcome isn't all that surprising.
