Got a rear offside coil spring thats need renewing on my 2001 S3, she has failed the MOT today!

Anybody know how much one would be or will I have to buy a pair?

Also how much of a job would it be to change?

    Cheers Peops

10 minute job, easy enough to do if you know what you're doing. The spring is around £60 + VAT from Audi. Can be bought cheaper from eBay however. The S3 spring is also the same as the TT 225.

it has been discussed abit on this forum and it is a common problem. if you just want to get through the mot then getting one is an answer (i have one which has seen 4 months use sitting in my garage) and cost me about £80ish fitted, but most people will say change a pair. i only changed the entire suspension set up recently as one of the front springs snapped after the snow.

Yes there is, the quattro springs are different to the FWD ones.
