Hey all, just had a new master cylinder done on my S3. Cost me £100 so just wondered if thats a good deal...?

If it was a good deal then I'm well happy coz I've got a new mechanic :) the guys a Merc specialist so guy knows his stuff n he knew all the common problems with the S3 and TT aka pedals, coils, MAF and the master cyl.

Hi I got a master cylinder (clutch) replaced by Audi 3 months ago it cost £200 but the part on the invoice cost £53.70 but if ur getting the labour for free ur doing better than I did but Audi do warranty on all parts and labour done on the car, it costs a lot but gives u a clear mind!!!

Stevo, I think the answer to your question is yes. £100 all in to fit master cylinder is a very good price. I'm sure you are still within the same legal rights as an Audi dealer.
If you buy a TV at Harrods or your local unknown electrical store and it breaks down within a year you have exactly the same rights at both places.
