I use a ABSORB which is a leather cleaner and nourisher from IKEA.

Dont take this personally (honest!) but get ya fat ass (clothed!) on it and drive some and over time it picks up a satin shine /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif - remember, the leather you've got is 'made' to look mat, not gloss (and there's 6 types of black leather used on the S3 range!

Course you can turn it 'shiny' just like you can fake a tan, just depends on how many chemical assistants you want to put on it to achieve it, why not get the bees wax and kiwi out and bull the bu99ers if you want a shine, or slap some silicon dash shiner on - what you sit on with your clothes is up to you matey! Clean it, condition it (Meguire's of course!) and let it age naturally and shine through wear.....

    The leather should be matt?

Shiny leather is leather that is uncared for and generally old/knackered.

You should have a satin matt lustre to your leather - which it sounds like you have!
