S3 indicator stalk help

When i put my indicators on it flashes once at the most and then stops, the headlight flash works fine. Any ideas? new stalk perhaps? any ideas on how to remove it ?

Common problem... its the relay in the back of the hazard switch... ironically mine packed up last night so off to Audi at lunch time to get a new one

TPS but you need a trade account otherwise its a dealer part...

I'll post part number, price and if it fixes the prob later...

I have just phoned audi and they said £40 inc VAT, on euro car parts its £35 inc VAT

Ordered from Audi, part number 8L0941509P (face lift interior), £29.83 (inc 10% discount I haggled) + vat

Picking up tomorrow with a load of other stuff I ordered so I can fit my large port head... will let you know if this fixes the prob...

fitted mine in 2mins and works. What a nightmare without your indicators! Feel like a bmw driver...
