S3 feels underpowered?

Lad from work wanted a quick race home today in his 2011 corsa vxr he just bought completely standard and I struggled to keep up with it in my 01 210bhp s3? Feels like it's underpowered :/

210bhp isn't a lot at all...especially considering the S3's are fatboys!

Put some ATF Dextrum 3 in tank. It will clean the whole fuel system and restore power.

10 years is a lot of time for car technology to advance... not sure what you are actually asking here... the S3 is a lardy old bus really and 200ftlb is not much in the grand scheme of things

According to info on cars-data.com the Corsa (192 bhp version) is about 162 bhp per ton where as the 210 S3 is about 152 per ton....

A stage one map on it's own should bring you up to circa 250 giving you 182 per ton... You know what to do

Depends on the roads and driver alot, add into that most s3 now have air leaks everywhere, have you scanned it and sorted all the problems its probably got? Then like tuffty said, remap it.
A corsa vxr does a quarter mile in 15.0s at 94 iirc a healthy stock s3 does it in 14.7s at 95.
Besides any car can beat another with enough cash thrown at it, theres a vxr near me at 450bhp! Throw some cash!-)
