S3 Driver Side Electronics not working

Hi Guys

My S3 was iced over ( very bad ) this morning and now the driver side door electronics is not working. For example the windows wont work on both sides , the remote fob doesn't lock the drivers side door and the power windows will not move.

Any help would be great as it was working fine until this morning with the ice

Should all work again when the car thaws out.

Maybe check the wires within the rubber boot in the door hinge, you might have had a wire or wires on their way out and the cold made things a little more brittle braking them when you opened the door.

how about a good spray of WD40 in all the locks , under the door handle etc.

Had a brief look doesn't seem to be any damage.

There is some sort of electrical error for sure - going to get the door stripped down tomorrow and see what they can see.

Just so annoying
