S3 Concert Stereo Ipod Connection or aftermarket head unit

Hi All!

I have finally taken the leap from my a3 quattro to an 07 S3 and its awesome! I was so excited that i forgot to check to see if it has the connection for the ipod in the glove box. It doesnt and there is no plug in there either. Any ideas how to connect it other than a crappy fm transmitter? Also are there any double DIN head units that are worth using that are compatable with the dash display and ecu?

Any ideas would be welcomed.

hi i have a ipod connection in the glove box ,,connected to head unit ,,thats the cheapest option...

Yeah the glove box connection is what I want to do as it's the cheapest but there are no connections at all in there. Where did you get your cable from? Can't find anything on the bay which seems to do the job and the rns-e units are too expensive for the moment.
