S3 buying info

    Hi going to look at an 02 S3 with 60000 miles on the clock at the weekend anything i should look out for common problems etc ? What mileage or years does t-belt require changing and also haldex fluid changing?
    Any info would be great .........thanks:)

    Hi Welcome!!!!

    cam belt is 60-80k or 4yrs so now really for this. You could get garage/owner to do it or get a discount against it (approx £350)

    Haldex oil is every 20k and the filter is every 40k so again now for the haldex oil and try to find paperwork for the filter or else get that done as well. if both needs doing then get another (£150) discount.

    Try to get £500 discount or if buying from a garage they could probably get it done for lmuch ess than half that.
