S3 brake help??

I finally got round to fitting my s3 brakes to the a3 today but as usual i have run into problems. The struts on my car are 50mm but the hubs i have got from ebay are 55mm, can someone with etka help me find out if the hubs from a s3 come in the 50mm type or am i better off looking for 55mm struts to replace them untill the air is fitted?
