I've got the good old crackling front left speaker (which works when it is warm) problem.

I've followed all the instructions on previous threads and resoldered all the joints on the BOSE amp PCB.

    It's not made a difference.

(I've tried 3 times, (I'm sick of solder sucking))

Is it possible that its NOT the BOSE Amp?

    How would I test?

I was thinking of swapping lf and rf on the head unit to see if it is the head unit rather than the AMP.

Or does anyone have any better ideas?

I'm in Reading, so if anyone has a spare AMP hangin around that I could plug in and confirm that it works, that would be really cool.

I've gotten to the point where I can't bear to even turn the radio on any more.

It won't be the HU, it has to be either the amp or the wiring, though if it's OK when warm then it would seem to point to the amp, as duff wiring is duff wiring regardless of temp. You really need to swap the amp over just to be sure, or remove both door cards and try wiring the left speaker to the right speaker connection (using some spare speaker wire) and see if the fault is replicated on the right front. If it is then it has to be the amp. If it's OK then it has to be the wiring.
