S3 block ..

Hello peeps I need an s3 block asap ..
I know that a3 1.8t engines are the same ( apu engine code ) but would rather an apy or bam unless an apu is just as good ???

Well I bought an apu for £400 then got a message saying he thinks the head gasket had gone ..
So then just left it Upto my friend who's sorting it to get 1 and he's bought an apu out of a passat so the waterpump is external on those ..
So back to square 1 again
