S3 alarm

Hi boys has any one got a after market Alarm fitted to there 8p S3 as i was told they are a pain in the but to fit to an audi

nope m8 the s3 one is good enough, my m8 changed mine wae vag com the other day so it beeps when looked or unlocked, sounds like a after market one now lol

Ye battery & car is fine otherwise, its only done it twice over 1 month but just wanted to see if anyone knew why

Could be a cat jumping up on the car setting it off? Thats the only conclusion i can come too.

My alarm dont even go off it just flashes the indicators any one know why ???

Do you mean that the alarm does not beep when you lock / unlock the car?
Or if the actual alarm goes off....?

No beeps or alarm siren when it gose off .

Ok , The beeps can be added with VCD , personally i think they are annoying.
Siren not going off usually means it knackered ,if its under warranty , back to Audi.

Audi will be seeing me on saterday and i hope they put it right because i want stage 2+ asap and i dont want a bill for the work needed

Its in the garage lol incase there is a cat in my garage I doubt this tho lol

Arm it with the windows down and climb in after about 5 minutes!

Open it with the key and wait the alarm should go off...
