S3 aftermarket exhausts compilation

armytrix exhaust on my S3 - installed catback only for now as i'm waiting for apr stage 2 map for aussie spec

talking to bcs atm to order their rhd catted dp, but hope it doesn't change the exhaust note

rude crackle with valves open. dsg farts when closed

tbh this car would be pretty boring without it

big fan of the crackle trend, adds some theatre to having to navigate around our draconian speed limits. have on order the king of crackle and pop, an f-type v8 coupe lol

Sounds really nice dom! Great looking car too...very clean
Loving the garage in the pics too....I hear you on the Jag...hard to beat that one for symphony of noise!

I met up with my old TTS last week which had a Scorpion fitted.......

My S3 tail pipes look like Cr4p and the TTS pipes still look like new! Way better quality Steel I am told.

Yes I'm not too happy with the discoloration on my pipe tips either...hate the chrome and the oval shape...if I don't bite the bullet on a catback at some point then I will try and change the tips to round grey/black

I tried but the whole pipe is oval making it very difficult to do :-(

Anything new right here?

I saw last sunday a Golf R with a aftermarket exhaust. The sound was amazing! It blows a lot. Sound was not too high except on upshift farts!

Unfortunately I was no able to know which exhaust manufacture was :(

Scorpion resonated valved awesome system

How much in £notes if you don't mind me asking?

I had the Scorpion fitted to my TTS super quality SS work and so so so easy to clean compared to the cr&ppy SS on the OEM Audi

Does anyone know of a twin oval like on the RS3, preferably valved? All I can find are quad exhausts.

Very interesting.
Some questions...
Can you change modes with drive select switch or have another system like remote control?
Is very noticiable between open and closed valves?
If you could put a video...

Rs3 tails Re smaller than the quad on the s3 so looked crap in the valance

No remote control sorry
The valves work same as oe and adjusts depending to the mode you select
I'd say I'll do a video but I doubt I'd get round to it

Just thought I'd drop this in here...

Currently finish the development off, but going off the sound of the mk7 R it will sound good.

No ECU controlling the valves just your right foot. So ECO mode will "fart" too. :)

Can't tell you how much I wanted one of these. Tried hard to sort out my car as a development vehicle, but we just couldn't get the timing right. Is it as good as expected?

Have now bought a Milltek, am hoping that I won't be tempted to swap it once I've heard yours. When's the video going on the BCS site?

I've only seen a few pictures at the moment. They are just jigging the back end up. Wont be ready for weekend. So guessing mid week the video might be recorded.

Exhaust Porn or what....

Might have to get a divorce after all just to get a new exhaust... :)

Wow... I was waiting for yours! :)
It will be interesting if you could post db measurement with opened valves and closed.

i can't wait to change the exhaust!
the stock system, sounds good and it still gets me compliments! BUT, i want more.

I will be going Miltek, TBE, decat, non res and valved with quad black tips. As much as i want to do this now, i can't justify getting the decay whilst there is no stage 2 map out, so I'm hoping Revo get their s**t together in the new year and get a map sorted so i can jump straight to stg2 along with wvr600!

Curious as to how loud their non-res system is when valves are closed, as I think their non-valved system will be too loud for where I live! Only ever heard a Resonated Valved system in person! Keep us updated :)

Going buy YouTube videos, I'm hoping in comfort it's not too bad! Then again I'm wanting it to be loud. A nice blast over the moors and singing to myself, the hills are alive with the sound of non res!

See, if its acceptable when in 'Comfort', I would go non-res non-valved TBE but if not, I can't get away with the loudness as I often leave for work before 5:30-6:00am and when that thing fires up in a garage at the moment (always Dynamic with Valves disconnected), its bad enough for the neighbours currently! Very steep hill to climb immediately as well, so I have the choice of either rev it low in a higher gear and give everyone a low end rumble or rev it high and scream at everyone..choices choices..

People says resonated valved its very quite and similar to oem system. What do you think?

Yeah I've had a look around on YouTube and it seems pretty similar to stock when in that configuration. Need to hear the non-res valved system in person I think before I make any decisions..

Many mounts I was waiting. For me is very very difficult :frown:

Can anyone recommend the loudest exhaust with a nice deep tone and firecracker like farts? It will have to be a catback since I am already running a decat downpipe.

not sure about loudest....but I just heard the Milltek TBE non-res and it sounded really deep and nice, not intrusive at all driving around...definitely my top choice at the moment

Supersprint is finishing his development with valves:

Not many info at the moment. Let's keep an eye on it!

Just wondering from those who have got the Milltek full TBE system (non-res downpipe, valved) how they are finding it to live with day to day?
