S3/A3 coilovers

Sorry i would do a search but am in a hurry, can someone please tell me if coilovers from an S3 would fit on my a3 1.8ts 2wd.

Thanks for your quick reply much appreciated the guy selling tried saying they would fit but i always thought they wouldn't. Shame because they were a good price.

If yours was a Quattro then not a problem but otherwise it's a different arrangement!
