    Hi everyone ive had 5 audi's now and all been 8l shaped at christmas im gonna have a change and getting a 8p s3 :)

    just wanna know from people what there like what sort of gains you can expect from subtle mods and in general comparison to its predecessor

    Im gonna put coilovers on it and bbs rs split rims front mount

    what would other people reccomend?

    Revo Stage 2+ with 350bhp

    Love it.

    No to be honest - I would rather buy a faster car. Considering the price it costs to go from 2+ to 3.

    Loba L400 isnt that expensive and offers aproxx 400bhp all in shouldnt be more than 3k-3.5k. :D

    Stage 2+ is a must, Stage 1 no doubt best buy per bhp gained. Forget to pay your rent when you could have had a beast haha!

    I'm with Boydie on this. LO400 is 2k is with fitting and then map change on top of that. Not a massive increase from 2+ - well not enough to warrant the big spend. The LO4xx is 3k plus peripherals and again, not enough more for the money.

    2+ is sensible money and good gains for the expense.

    I'm starting the hunt for an alternative now rather than pushing on to stage 3...........

    Being honest,I can see your point.

    The best overall value in S3 tuning is probably Stg2+ which offers a lot of power and speed for your money,without going too far,which is obviously what I've done!

    That said,for the price of the turbo kit and internals etc,you get a properly quick car,for rather less than you'd spend on a new Porsche 911....which a Stg3 or 4 S3 will hang out to dry.

    Just depends on how you want to spend your money!

    I tend to try and forget that :banghead:

    In any case,I don't have any plans to sell,so that makes that side of the argument easy.....if I was selling,I woudn't have thought of half of this little project!
