S3 18" wheel tyre pressure

Recently got my 18" RS6 rims for my S3 and was wondering what tyre pressures they should be.

I have heard that 2.4 bar/36 psi is what is used for normal load conditions, but want to confirm this.

I too would like to know this, is pressure affected by your tyre size? ie 225/40/18 needing less air than a 235/40/18 tyre?
