Hi all its been a while I left the audi seen for bmw lol but i want to come back

Going to go see an S3 sportback today but its got a few issues hopefully minor,

1. S tronic gearbox clutch is slipping in 4th gear and 5th gear at 3000rpm

2. TTRS LPFP is overheating at 120mph current owner says, i dont drive at that speed
Apparently something down to duty cycle down to the remap, was done by R tech

Slipping clutch means a new clutch pack set and depending on where you go, it's not cheap to buy or replace.

TTRS LPFP is not the thing that is overheating, but it's the stock controller that powers it. Aftermarket upgrade units can be had for a few hundred pounds.

The gearbox would be my biggest concern and I'd want to see that reflected in the purchase price as you're looking at well over 1K to sort that out.

Could the box/clutch not just need re-mapping to match the engine?
Sure, if it hasn't been done already, but I doubt that Nicki would not have suggested it to the current owner. Might be worth asking RTech of it was done.
