Hi

I just wanted to know when your driving on D mode and want to change to S mode can you do this while driving or do you have to stop and change?

When your on S mode the paddle shift activates, am i right?

Then you have your manual mode where you can up shift and down shift from your gear stick.

Yes you can swap between D & S anytime & paddles are available to use in any mode, except reverse & park

I'm always swapping between the 3 modes, drop it into sport for a cheeky overtake or fast roundabout, or knock the left paddle down 2

I prefer the noise when it changes up at around 5-6k rpm, a nice pop

I often pop mine into manual mode when cruising round town at 30-35 and want to leave it in 6th. If I leave it in D it will often go down to 5th and higher my fuel consumption!
